BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Ensure that you book the correct service. If you have long or thick hair, you will need to identify this to us so additional time can be allocated to your appointment. If you need help determining which service to book, you can call us or come in to the salon for a consultation by appointment. We recommend washing your hair one day before having a colour service done, and coming in with no product in your hair (ie. dry shampoo. Leave-in conditioner, etc.).
There are additional charges for long, thick or box dyed hair. These charges cover the cost of additional bowls of product and additional time. Additional charges are only determined in person, at the discretion of your stylist.
DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT
All appointments start with a consultation between you and your stylist. Based on your hair history, length and thickness, we will discuss possible hair colouring or treatment options and pricing suitable for your hair and expectations. Reference photos are a useful tool for our stylists to see, we recommend bringing a few to every colour appointment. However, we ask clients stay considerate of the difference elements such as lighting can make in photos when comparing tones. Please be mindful It may take more than one session for your hair to reach the colour and tone you desire. Results can vary according to each individual, the current state of their hair, and the way their hair can handle bleach and colouring.
AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT
Do not wash your hair for at least 48 hours after your appointment. The longer you wait to wash your hair, the longer your hair colour will last. We do not recommend washing hair with hot water, as this may cause colour to fade. Finally, when washing we recommend only using colour-safe shampoos and conditioners.
We highly recommend the purchase of professional grade colour safe shampoo. Harsh detergents found in drug-store products will strip your colour causing it to fade quicker creating a duller overall appearance. Ensure that you speak to our stylists about a hair care routine suitable for your hair type.
CANCELLING YOUR APPOINTMENT
We reserve the right to refuse and cancel your appointment if we find that your hair is not suitable to have chemical or colouring services done. The integrity of your hair is our number one priority. We also reserve the right to cancel appointments which have not been confirmed to through our online cancellation policy within 48 hours of making the reservation.
TOUCH UP / REFUND POLICY
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your hair, you must notify us within 48 hours of your appointment by texting us at 905-542-2286. All colour adjustments or touch-ups are subject to a $50 fee to cover the cost of product. All corrections must be done within 10 days of the initial service and with the original stylist. Due to the nature of our services, no service refunds will be granted.
